Brand Growth & Partnerships Intern

Flow Coffee · Brand Management · Website

The problem

Duration: Jan-May '27. Working arrangement: Hybrid. Expected commitment: 12+ hrs/week. Key responsibilities: Help build Flow from a vending-machine business into a recognised consumer brand. Identify and execute growth opportunities through partnerships, activations, campaigns, communities and new channels. Conduct outreach, develop proposals, run experiments, and measure what drives brand awareness, customer adoption and repeat usage. Challenge — From Vending Machine to Brand: Flow operates smart coffee machines across campuses, offices, hospitals and public spaces. Unlike a cafe, there is no storefront or barista interaction - for many customers, Flow is first experienced as a machine. Assume product quality, reliability and pricing are not issues, and locations cannot be changed. You have S$1,000 and 90 days. How would you turn Flow from 'a vending machine I walk past' into a coffee brand people recognise, remember and actively choose? You may use partnerships, activations, communities, loyalty, content, events or collaborations. Helpful resources: Flow overview, menu/pricing and examples of our location types. Candidates may ask Qing Yuan clarifying questions and make reasonable assumptions. Note: Ideas should be commercially sensible and executable by a small startup team. Avoid relying mainly on product changes, permanent price cuts, relocation or large ad spend. We care more about initiative and actionability than polish.

What you produce

Maximum 3 slides: (1) What should Flow stand for and what customer insight are you building around? (2) Propose 2-3 initiatives, including at least one partner or community collaboration. (3) What would you do first, how would you allocate S$1,000, and how would you measure success?
